Chennai Collector Sundaravalli has informed that any damages and any relief required due to North East Monsoon can be informed through the toll free phone number. In a statement, she has mentioned that, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister has instructed to speed up the relief work and also find out the damages incurred because of the North East Monsoon. As a part of this, revenue department staffs of the ten zones are now deployed for this work. Deputy Collectors will oversee this work and also find out the damages incurred. Public are requested to contact the control room at Collector`s office for any relief or report damages. The toll free number is 1077.
