TNPSC announces written examinations for filling up the 813 vacancies for posts of VAO

For the year 2014-15, there are 813 vacancies for the post of Village Administrative Officer (VAO).
To fill up these vacancies in a direct process, TNPSC has decided to conduct a written examination.
The written test is scheduled on 14th February, 2016. The written test will be between 10.00 AM & 1.00 PM for 3 hours.
Application for this written can be made only online.
Applicants have to pay the registration fee of Rs. 50/- and must permanently register their personal data.
The last date for application is 14th December.
The last date for paying the registration fees through banks or Post Office is 16th December.
Age Limit: The applicants belonging to Adi Dravida Community, Most Backward Community, minority communities, and destitute widows from all classes should have completed 21 years of age. Maximum age limit is 40 years. For other communities, minimum age is 21 and maximum age is 30.
Candidates should have passed 10th Standard or equivalent to be eligible to join high school or college.
The fee for written examination is Rs. 75/-.
