Madras High Court will come under the cover of Central Industrial Security Force from November 16

From November 16 the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) will be deployed for security at Madras High Court. A demand draft dated November 5 drawn on State Bank of India`s Vepery branch has been deposited towards advance payment for deployment of 650 CISF personnel in the High Court.
The Security Committee of the High Court consisting of Justice R Sudhakar, Advocate General A L Somayaji, Chennai City Commissioner of Police T K Rajendran, CISF Senior Commandant M R Bhale, Deputy Commandant Vinod Babu and Madras High Court Advocates Association President R C Paul Kanagaraj met today and discussed the security details and issues relating to demarcation of the High Court complex alone
