Vignesh Shivan had directed the recently released hit film Naanum Rowdydhaan which had Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Parthiban in the cast. Anirudh had composed the music. Dhanush has produced the film. The film was released on 21st of this month. The film got an astounding response and also earned Rs 8 Crore profit in the first four days itself.
