Nani replaces Dulquer Salman

After O Kadhal Kanmani, Mani Rathinam wanted to direct a film which will have Dulquer Salman, Karthi, Kirthi Suresh and Nithya Menon in the cast but due callsheet problem, he had to quit the film. Moreover Mani Rathinam was also searching for a Telugu producer because he wanted to make this film in Telugu also. So he has chosen the Telugu actor Nani of Naan Ee and Aaha Kalyanam fame
It has to be noted that Nani has already dubbed for Dulquer Salmaan in OK Bangaram, the Telugu version of O Kadhal Kanmani.
The yet-untitled film will be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual for which the shooting will commence by next year
