Ajith was donning the lead role in a film which was yet to be titled. Siruthai Shiva was directing the film. Shruti Haasan, Lakshmi Menon, Kabir Singh, Rahul Dev, Soori and many others are donning important roles. There were great expectations about the title. Now the wait is finally over. The title of Ajith`s forthcoming movie, which has been tentatively named Thala 56 by his fans and the media all these months, is announced as Vedhalam on Wednesday, 23 September,
The first look poster has Ajith featuring in red shirt and short hair cut with bracelets and studs, resembling his look in 2002 Tamil movie, Red.
Vedhalam is being produced by AM Ratnam and Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music
