Mellisai is a film which has Vijay Sethupathi and Gayathri in the lead roles has been directed by Ranjith Jeyakodi. The teaser of the film, which features actors Vijay Sethupathi and Gayathri in the lead, has just been launched online. Vijay Sethupathi plays a music director who is looking to bring out an album in the film. Gayathri plays a violin teacher. But the film is not about music. It is about a dangerous web that is spun around us without our knowledge. It is about a crime.
The film features music by Sam C. S. and cinematography by Dinesh Krishnan. This is Vijay Sethupathi`s third film opposite Gayathri. The duo has created magic in the past with hits like Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom and Rummy.
Vijay Sethupathi after a poor outing in Orange Mittai is pinning hopes on Mellisai and Naanum Rowdy Than. The latter is produced by Dhanush and stars Nayanthara opposite him.
