Sattai 2 will be Samuthirakanis next

Director Samudrakani who was busy in Kitna has commenced his work connected with his second script. Dhanshika was supposed to don an important role in Kitna but she was no able to act immediately because she was signed for Rajini starrer Kabali. Samudrakani said, We were working on Kitna, when Dhanshika got this offer to work in Rajini`s Kabali. She requested me to give her time to complete Rajini`s project first and I agreed. Once she is done with Kabali, we will resume work on Kitna.
This script that Samudrakani is currently working on is Sattai 2. While Sattai dealt with the bond teachers have with students and showcased the qualities of a good teacher, Sattai 2 will focus on the relationship between a father and a son. It is for this reason that Samuthirakani intend to call this film Appa. The tag line will be Sattai 2. It is not exactly a sequel. The stories will have nothing in common other than the fact that both seek to draw attention to social issues.
