Producer C V Kumar to direct a film

Producer C V Kumar who is credited with introducing young and talented film-makers apart from changing the trend of Kollywood will now direct a film. The untitled project will be produced jointly by Kumar and Studio Green in Chennai. The movie is set to go on the floors sometime in October when everything falls into place. Telugu actor Sundeep Kishan will don the lead role while the selection for the female lead role is going on.
Kumar has produced some of the trendsetting movies in Tamil such, as Soodhu Kavvum, Pizza, Thegidi and Indru Netru Naalai. He also introduced new film-makers, including Karthik Subbaraj, Nalan Kumarasamy, and Ravi. Many of the movies that he produced have been critically acclaimed commercial successful.
