Shooting of Kabali commenced today with poojai

Great expectations are brewing over the film Kabali. Rajinikanth is donning the lead role. Pa Ranjith is directing the film. The shooting of the film will be taking places in the mammoth sets erected in and around Chennai. The poojai for the film was performed exactly at 9.05 AM in one of the sets. After the poojai was performed, Rajinikanth fed sweets in the mouth of producer Dhanu and director Pa Ranjith. The first sequence featuring Rajnikanth wearing coat and suit was shot amidst the crew’s applauds.
It is said that Rajinikanth has given a 106-day call sheet to the director and will shoot for the film till the end of January. While the first leg of shoot is happening in Chennai, the Kabali team will reportedly move to locations in Malaysia for the next leg.
