Vijay’s Puli gets U certificate

Chimbudevan has directed a film based on the lines of Russell Crowe`s The Gladiator. This film has Vijay in the lead role. The film which was sent to Censor Board was certified with a U certificate. The `U` certificate has also benefited Puli in a big way as the movie will be exempted from the 30% entertainment tax.
Puli is a multi-starrer movie, which has Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep, Shruti Haasan, Hansika Motwani and yesteryear actress Sridevi Kapoor in key roles. Prabhu, Nandita Sweta, Vijayakumar, Thambi Ramaiah, Aadukalam Naren, Imman Annachi, Sathyan and others are also there in the cast.
The movie has Devi Sri Prasad`s music, Nataranjan Subramaniam`s cinematography and Sreekar Prasad`s editing.
