No smoking or drinking scenes in Jayam Ravis film

It has been announced that there will be no drinking or smoking sequences in the film Miruthan which has Jayam Ravi in the lead role.
The film Thani Oruvan which has Jayam Ravi in the lead role was directed by Mohan Raja. The recently released film was a great hit and is still running to packed houses. After Thani Oruvan, Jayam Ravi was donning the lead role in a film which is being directed by Sakthi Soundarajan. This film has been titled Miruthan. Lakshmi Menon, Baby Anikha, Sriman, Kali Venkat and others are starring in the film. D Imman is composing the music. Michael Rayappan is producing the film.
The first schedule shooting of the film took place in Ooty for 30 days. It has been decided to have the next schedule shooting at Chennai and Hyderabad. There will be no drinking or smoking sequences in this film.
