Felicitation of achievers in the field of Education

Dr. K. P. Thooyamani, Vice Chancellor of Bharath University, was conferred by STAR NEWS National B-School Awards at Taj Lands End, Mumbai for his excellent contribution in the field of Education on February 12, 2011. Dr. K.P. Thooyamani was awarded in recognition of leadership, development, marketing an institute and industry interface of Business school, by an independent jury who believe in nurturing young talent. Eminent personalities from various walks of life had graced the occasion.
The STAR NEWS National B-School Awards recognized institutions that were quite innovative, modern & industry related in charting the curriculum for Marketing, Advertising, and Marketing Communications field. Dr.K.P.Thooyamani has been instrumental in nurturing young talent and imparting knowledge in the field of Research and Academics to the students.
He has over three decades of cascading experience in the field of Education and Teaching. He started his career as an Assistant professor in a college after completing his engineering in the field of Computer Science. His stern interest and passion in the field of research has enabled him to develop software and present papers at international level. The zeal towards computer engineering further led him to attend numerous workshops and seminars nationally and internationally.
On this honour, Dr. K. P. Thooyamani said, �I am humbled and pleased to receive this honour. This award further motivates me to drive myself in the field of education.
