Information is gathered that around 1 Crore Amma Cement bags have been sold.
Under the Amma Cement Sales scheme, a bag of Amma cement is sold at Rs. 190/-.
Amma cement bags are being sold through Women�s Self-help Groups and 470 storage depots.
From the day the production was started, around 5.17 metric tons of Amma cement has been sold. This is the equivalent of 1 Crore cement bags.
Under this scheme, 750 bags of cement are sold for people who build new houses under 1500 sq ft and 10 to 100 bags of Amma cement is sold the people who renovate their existing houses.
