Tamil Nadu CM inaugurates 151 e-service centres!!

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa inaugurated 151 e-service centres in the state.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the e-service centre set up at Punjai Thottakkurichi city administration Office at a cost of Rs. 3.48 Lakhs through video-conferencing facility.
Chief Minister also inaugurated 150 e-service centres in different districts set up at a cost of Rs. 4.867 Crores jointly set up by Tamil Nadu Electronics Corporation and Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Company.
As per the government notification, various documents like income certificate, caste certificate, residence proof, certificate for women rendered destitute by their husbands, certificates issued by the Revenue Department and the various social welfare activities undertaken by the government.
It is expected that the hardship of having to visit various places to obtain these certificates will be avoided thus making it easier, quicker & simpler for the public.
