Digital life certificate for pensioners

A camp is being conducted from 10 July to 1st October to receive the life certificate of ex-servicemen.
To get the pension and family pension, the ex servicemen should produce life certificate. If the life certificate is not produced than the pension will be stopped. So every year the pensioners have to go to banks to produce this certificate. Old people and people staying in other cities find it very difficult to produce this. In order to resolve this, the Central Government has introduced Jeevan Pramaan.
A release says that instead of getting life certificate in physical form, the Government was taking steps to issue digital life certificate and to issue online the certificate the Assistant Director�s office was taking steps. To facilitate the process, ex-servicemen or their family will do well to submit photo copies of pension order, Aadhaar card, the front page of bank passbook, ex-servicemen identity card, a passport-size photograph, discharge book and phone number.
