Good news for Android phone users! Truecaller has now introduced a new app called Truemessenger. This app replaces the SMS system. It has a powerful filter that adds a name to the unknown SMS es that you get, thus helping you get rid of spam easier. This puts you in control of whom you want to communicate with, while keeping your inbox clean.
15% of all SMSes are spam globally - this amounts to a whopping 1.2 trillion spam messages a year! The number of spam messages has increased manifold in a past years, with companies making it a main way of marketing. Talking about this problem, a Truemessenger official said, �We know that spam calls and SMS are a major source of frustration for our users globally, and our users in India have been especially vocal in asking for a solution to this problem. So what exactly does this new feature do? It puts a name to the number you have received the message from, even if not in your contacts. You have the option to avoid messages and calls from a number that you have selected. There are advanced and customised filter options to suit your needs. True messenger is right now available for Android phones along with Truecaller and Truedialer.
