Eric Olson, Facebook�s logo designer, was asked to come up with a new font for a new logo. And he has delivered. Facebook changed its logo for the first time since 2005. The new logo is only a retake on the company�s word mark, says thenextweb.com. It is a text only version of its existing logo.
�The company set out to modernize the logo to make it feel more friendly and approachable and settled on an update instead of a full redesign�, said Facebook Creative Designer, Josh Higgins.
