Isolated rains in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has mentioned there will be rains in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry in the next 24 hours. An official of Chennai Meteorological Centre said,� Since the South Western Monsoon rains have intensified, there are heavy rains in the Western Ghats. There were also rains for the last one week in the places in Tamil Nadu adjoining Western Ghats. Due to convection, there will be rains in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on Tuesday. As far as Chennai is concerned the sky condition would be partly cloudy. Rain or thundershowers may occur in some areas during evening/night. Maximum and minimum temperature would be around 39 and 28 degree Celsius respectively.�
