ICRTC (Indian Railway Catering and Touring Corporation) has announced new tourism programs covering touring the leading nations in Asia. The details of press release made by ICRTC yesterday (Thursday, 11th June):
ICRTC has already been conducting several tourism packages with grand success. The tourism packages, especially covering Kashmir, Goa, Kerala, Andaman, and Shirdi by flight has met with huge popularity.
Now, tourism programs are on offer for visits to various Asian Countries.
The program, `Sri Ramayana Yatra`, a tour program to Sri Lanka, is being introduced and will start on 8th August & 19th September. The tour covers 4 days & 5 nights.
Visits to places of historical significance such as Nuwaraelia, Kandy, and Sri Lanka will be included. The cost of the tour package, including flight fare, lodging, boarding, sight-seeing, and visa with arrangement for 2 tourists sharing single room, is Rs. 34000/-.
The tour package to Thailand is scheduled to start on 10th July and 14th August. The tour covers 5 days and 4 nights. As above including all fares and with an arrangement for 2 tourists to share a single room, the cost of the tour is Rs. 37500/-.
