Chennai High Court: Helmet compulsory from 1st July!

Chennai High Court has ordered that wearing helmet will be compulsory in Tamil Nadu from 1st July.
All 2-wheeler drivers must wear helmets.
This information must be passed on to public through different media.
Licence of persons driving 2-wheelers without wearing helmet can be confiscated.
Already existing rules must be strictly implemented.
Justice Kripakaran has suggested that surveillance monitoring cameras should be installed in National Highways and vigilant monitoring must be carried out.
