Second largest software giant is devising plans to ease the dress code for its employees by removing the rules and norms. Earlier, its employees were allowed to wear casuals dress only on Saturdays. This is now set to be relaxed and the employees are now free to wear casual dress and jeans on all days. Head officials off the company believe this step to retain their employees with themselves, and avoid quitting of job or job shifting by its employees. They also believe this step to make betterment in the overall functioning of the company.
A mail was sent to all employees regarding the same. This is brought into effect from 1st June as on which employees can wear jeans, T-shirt, and other casual wears. Though the employees are free to wear casual wears, they need to keep in mind about the brand and choose dresses accordingly. This software giant has about 1.7 lakh employees. The CEO and MD of Infosys, Vishal Sikka is now wearing his favorite black T-Shirt. To note, he earlier announced the dress code for his company employees last year.
This definitely is a welcome move sure to bring better results.
