The news that names of voters who have not included Aadhar Card numbers will be removed is false!

Chief Election Commissioner Mr. Sandeep Saxena has informed that a false news that names of the people who did not include their Aadhar Card numbers will be removed from the voters� list.
This is not at all true.
Further, Aadhar card is not required for fresh registrations in the voters� list.
The Election Commission will not divulge confidential data such as Aadhar card number, Cell phone number, and e-mail addresses to other agencies including political parties.
This data is strictly confidential kept by the Election Commission only.
