ROADS RECONSTRUCTION BEGINS

M.K. Stalin ,Deputy Chief Minister inaugurated thee pairs /reconstruction works of roads damaged by recent rain would be commenced now and would be completed in about 100 days.The Chennai Corporation on Thursday commenced re-laying work on 387 km of 1,320 roads in the city. Inaugurating the work.
The state government has allocated Rs.60 crore under the Special Roads Programme 2010-2011,he added. The details of the re-laying work would be available online in the Corporation website – www.chennaicorporation.gov.in.
