Chennai: Scorching heat touches the peak today (21st May)!

Chennai experienced unprecedented oppressive summer today (Thursday, 21st May).
During the noon, the temperature touched 41 Degrees Celsius (105.8 Degrees Fahrenheit) !
Information confirms that this might be the hottest day on record this summer.
As the sun was blazing away, there was not much public movement on the roads!
With the sea-breeze setting in at 4.00 PM, the heat abated somewhat!
