Isolated rain or thundershowers may occur over Tamil Nadu for three days

This year there will be only 30% of rainfall than the usual rainfall during the south west monsoon. The south west monsoon will usually commence on 1st June or two days earlier or later. There will be heavy rainfall in Kanyakumari and Coimbatore during this monsoon season. Other districts will receive less rainfall.
For the last 10 days there have been heavy rainfalls in Southern Districts. 50% of the monsoon rain has already come.
Official of the meteorological department said, �Isolated rain or thundershowers may occur over Tamil Nadu and Puducherry till 24th of this month.�
