There was strong rumour that director Vignesh Shivan has got married to Nayanthara in Kerala.
Vignesh Shivan who had earlier directed Poda Podi is now directing a film titled Naanum Rowdythaan. This film has Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in the lead roles. While shooting of the film, it has been rumored that Nayanthara had become intimate with director Vignesh Shivan and they had also been on a trip to Mauritius. Now the director has mentioned that none of the news is true and it is a cheap publicity stunt. He has tweeted, “Marriage rumours are insane and not true. Such false rumours sabotage the work flow and disturbs personally too!“ .
People close to both the actress and the director said that such fabricated news could be a marketing strategy to promote the film like in the past.
