Vijay Sethupathi happened to make an incredible start in his career with consistent hits in the row, but all of sudden, his films started flunking in box office. Although, the results were disappointing, his performance was still the top of praises. After a long hiatus, Vijay Sethupathi strikes back with a tremendous performance in the film ‘Purampokku’ that also features Arya and Shaam in other lead characters. Although, these two actors are more prominent than him, the critics have started yielding fantabulous response to the flawlessly emotional performance of Vijay Sethupathi, especially during the climax. SP Jhananathan has directed and produced this film on first copy basis with UTV Motion Pictures releasing it worldwide.
