RARE BRAIN SURGERY PERFORMED IN GENERAL HOSPITAL, MADURAI

A rare brain surgery was performed on a 45-year-old man of Sivaganga district at the Government Sivaganga district, here at the Government Rajaji Hospital.
GRH Medical Superintendent S.M. Sivakumar, Doctors R. Veerapandian, N. Ashok Kumar, N. Muthu Kumar among others said that the patient was admitted to the hospital in an unconscious state, bed ridden with paralysis of both upper and lower limbs on November 26.
Dr. Sivakumar said that post surgery the patient was steadily improving and he is fully conscious and walking normally. He said that the Government Hospital was fully equipped on a par with state-of-the-art private sector hospitals in performing such surgeries.
