Rains may continue in Tamil Nadu!

There are prospects of a low level depression to be formed near the Lakshadweep Islands. Hence, Chennai Meteorological Department has announced that rains may continue for the next 24 hours in Tamil Nadu & Puducherry.
There has been a cyclonic phenomenon in the higher layer of atmosphere over the last few days in the Southwest of Bay of Bengal,
This has resulted in the rains at a few places in Tamil Nadu & Puducherry over the last 2 days.
Since there are prospects of a formation of a low-level depression near Lakshadweep Islands, Chennai Meteorological Department has announced that there will be heavy rains in Tamil Nadu.
Over the last 24 hours, it has been raining in Chennai, Theni, Tanjore, Mettur, Nellai, and Karur districts.
A maximum rainfall of 11 cm has been recorded at Kunnur, Nilgiri District.
