Why did Trisha quit Selvaraghavan’s film?

In the recent times, it has become a fad in Kollywood for actresses to sign a film and later on quit it. Trisha was signed for the female lead role in a film which was to be directed by Selvaraghavan. All of a sudden she quit the film when she came to know that the film is being financed by her ex-fiancé Varun Manian. The actual reason was mentioned that Trisha quit this film in order to act in Kamal Haasan’s film. Whatever may be the case this was a great shock to Selvaraghavan.
Selvaraghavan who had come to direct a film after two years was bitterly upset because of Trisha’s deed. He had to urgently seek another heroine in the place of Trisha. Catherine Tresa of Madras fame was signed for the female lead role. Tapsee is another heroine of the film. After a long gap Yuvan Shankar Raja forgetting all the difference of opinions has joined hands with Selvaraghavan once again.
