The Tamil Nadu Government has ordered to supply free buttermilk, purified water and Panagam to the devotees who come to the temple during the summer. Addressing a special meeting to review arrangements here on Wednesday, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Minister R. Kamaraj said,� Cool color should be painted in the temple corridors. In order to quench the thirst of devotees, buttermilk, Panagam and purified water should be given. For the security of temple, burglar alarms and close circuited cameras should be installed. 886.79 acres of property, houses and buildings belonging to Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments were retrieved from encroachers. The market value of these properties are estimated at Rs .2337 Crores.�
