CM WILL INAUGURATE CHILDRENS NATIONAL SCIENCE CONGRESS 0N DECEMBER 27

Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi will inaugurate the 18th National Children`s Science Congress on December 27. It’s a five day annual event to be held in Vel’s University Pallavaram.The event is jointly organized by Vel`s University and Tamil Nadu Council for Science and Technology.
This year the theme will be is ‘Land Resource – Use For Prosperity and Save for Posterity’. There are about 650 papers selected out of 3 lakh papers received will be presented. More 1500 children are expected to participate. Actor Kamala Haasan will be inaugurating the cultural which will be a part of the event. Former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and Nobel Laureate Venkatraman Ramakrishnan will be among eminent scientists who will be participating and interacting with children during the five-day annual event to be held at Vel`s University in Pallavaram.They said the TN Science Forum and TN Council for Science and Technology are the prime hosts, with Vel’s University as the co-host.
