Meteorological Centre: Rains in Tamil Nadu & Puducherry!

Meteorological Centre has announced that there will be rains today in Tamil Nadu & Puducherry.
The intensity of heat felt by Chennai Metro & its suburbs for the last few days has somewhat lessened However, some districts in Tamil Nadu have been experiencing oppressive heat. With Agni Nakshatram set start shortly, it is a consolation that there have been rains in Thirunelveli, Tuticorin, Theni, Thiruvallur, and Coimbatore districts over the last few days.
Meteorological Centre has announced that there will be rains in Tamil Nadu & Puducherry today (Wednesday, 15th April).
The Director of Chennai Meteorological Centre, Mr. S R Ramanan, informed that the air in Bay of Bengal & Arabian Sea have merged together. This has caused the air in higher layers leading to rain forming situation. Hence, there will be widespread rains in Tamil Nadu & Puducherry.
Chennai will have a cloudy day. There are prospected of rains in some parts of the city.
