Wages for the employees of State-owned Transport Corporations have been hiked by 5.5%. Workers of the State-owned Transport Corporations will be benefited as the government has announced an increase ranging between Rs 1,350 and Rs 5,941 in their salaries.
A decision was made at the 12th wage revision talks between the elected representatives of the Transport Corporation and authorities, said Minister for Transport Senthil Balaji, who chaired the meeting on Monday.
