Tirupathi management waves off cost for shaving head

The temple management at Tirupathi has waved off the charges for offering hair by devotees. Tirupathi is famous for two main elements – one is Ladoo and the other is the practice of offering hair. It is a routine for most devotees to donate hair on their visit to Tirupathi. There were complaints that excessive charges are demanded at the temple for shaving off the hair. Following this, the temple management has announced that the charges for shaving off the hair will no more be in existence and waved off.
