Irksome travelers at Chennai central

Chennai central got a new pre-paid auto rickshaw booth installed in it recently. However the inauguration of the same is getting dragged due to which hundreds of passengers are left troubled at the station. They have no other choice to go with other than waiting in long queues under the sweltering sun for getting the token for auto in the existing system.
Auto drivers are hugely affected due to the delay in kick-starting the service of pre-paid booth at central railway station. The reason behind the delay is claimed to be the metro rail works.
Sharing his views on this delay, one of the association of pre-paid auto rickshaw drivers says he is not clear of why there is such a delay in inaugurating the booth, but if it�s inaugurated, it will be of great help for both passengers and drivers as well. The temporary booth functioning now is insufficient at the moment. When there is an important train arriving at the station, the place gets over crowded due to heavy rush of passengers who need to wait for long hours to board an auto rickshaw.
It is to be noted that this facility of pre-paid auto rickshaw was initiated in the year 2007 so as to comfort all 3000 passengers who arrive at the station every day on an average.
