Saturdays to be holidays for banks?

A circular was released recently that Saturdays will be holidays for all banks effective immediately. This circular generated a lots of excitement.
This circular was releases apparently from the Bharath State Bank Administration on 1st April.
The circular news also spread through other social media such as WhatsApp.
The bank employees were utterly confused whether this was genuine.
The Bank Employee Unions have now explained that the circular was a fake. None of the Bank managements have issued such circulars.
