Rain continues unabated – Schools and colleges to remain closed today

The normal life due to incessant rain on Monday has already affected normal life. Most affected are the people whose very survival depends on their work on day to day basis.
According to the Meteorological department, Chennai low pressure over southwest Bay of Bengal may turn more severe into a depression and had predicted more rains in Chennai.
The Government has ordered closure of all colleges and schools in the state for the second. The objective is not only to ensure safety of the children but also making office goers transportation easier. But there are some colleges who do not heed to government directive. The government should undertaking from such colleges that they will be held responsible for any untoward happening to the students not only within the college but also outside the college.
