Government order on B.Ed training

Posted on: 02/Apr/2015 6:17:39 PM
Teaching staff members in government schools (including tailoring, drawing, etc) when they complete their B.Ed can turn to be Post Graduation teachers. Furthermore, they will be provided with an incentive for their additional educational qualification too. Hence, it has been in practice for teaching members of government or government-aided schools to undergo B.Ed graduation. There are several universities that offer the degree course.

Higher secondary and secondary level teachers of government schools get their training for B.Ed right from where they’re working. However this is not applicable for primary teachers. They need to seek for training from other schools. This will obviously affect their teaching for school students. Hence, the government has now given its nod to provide training to these primary teachers as well right within their school premises. The order for the same was recently given out by head secretary, D.Sabeetha. The order states that teachers can get their training right at their school.
