New reservations rules help create a record in advance reservation system!

On the first day (Wednesday, 1st April) of the implementation of the facility to reserve 120 days in advance was implemented, a record number of 13.45 Lakh tickets have been reserved by IRCTC!
On the average, IRCTC books 5 lakh tickets per day.
Recently, the facility to reserve 120 days in advance instead of the 60 days was introduced.
This facility is extremely useful for the travellers to plan a smooth journey in advance.
However, Railway Ministry has announced that this new system will not be applicable to Taj Express, Gomathi Express, and other special trains.
A single passenger booking a single ticket will have to enter the website and do the reservation.
The ministry has also announced the middlemen involved in ticket-brokering are being monitored.
