Taking large quantities of food items which are not easily digestible

Avoid coffee & tea
Give up totally habits of drinking alcoholic beverages & smoking
Take food at proper time regularly
Avoid extremely spicy food items
Drink tender coconut or buttermilk at short intervals especially during summer.
Include manathakkali keerai & agathi keerai (variety of greens) regularly in the menu.
Include easily digestible items like young brinjal & okra, plantain flower, plantain stem, and young snake gourd.
Fruits which help digestion like bananas and apple juice may be included in the daily menu.
