Pollution Control Board set to introduce clearance order payment through internet!

Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board is set to introduce on-line service for the industrial sector to make payments for the release of clearance orders.
There are around 46000 medium and small scale industries in Tamil Nadu who are registered with the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board.
Clearance orders are being given by the pollution board to facilitate the operation of these factories and also their expansion as per the regulations set by the pollution control board.
Until now, the companies had to make personal visits to the board offices to apply for the clearance order. There was also delay in the movement of the related documentation files.
Pollution Control Board introduced �OCMS� (On-line Clearance Management Service) to expedite the release of clearance orders.
This scheme has become hugely popular in the industrial circle. The arrangement to make the payments for the clearance orders on the internet is also being introduced.
