Preventive measures for detection & treatment of Swine-flu: Minister�s Initiative!

Tamil Nadu government�s Human Welfare Minister, Dr. Vijayabhaskar presided over a conference on the arrangements regarding prevention of spreading of swine-flu in Tamil Nadu on 24th January & 6th February.
As a follow-up, there was a 3rd conference conducted at the the King�s Institute for disinfection and research yesterday (Wednesday, 4th March) presided by the minister, Dr. Vijayabhaskar.
Several senior health officials from the government participated.
There was a detailed discussion on the various measures taken by the government for prevention of swine-flu.
As all arrangements have been made including various preventive action and prompt treatment of the swine-fly patients, the public has been asked not to be too anxious about swine-flu.
A demonstration was conducted explaining how to wash hands in healthy way. The minister visited the King�s institute laboratory and inspected the arrangements.
Senior officials were also present during the inspection.
