Plans for renovation of 25 ancient and traditional temples throughout India!

The officials of the Department of Archaeology of the Central government shared the following information:
� 25 ancient and traditional temples have been selected across the country for complete renovation and restoration.
� Tanjore Brahadeeswarar Temple and the Mahabalipuram Shore Temples in Tamil Nadu are included in this list.
� The central government has declared Kanchipuram as a traditional city. Preliminary renovation activities have been planned.
� Under the recent �cleanliness movement� of the central government, some 450 places covering various forts, buildings, etc in Tamil Nadu under the custody of Central Archaeological Department occupying a land of over 50000 acres have been taken up for cleaning.
