1417 vacancies for VAO (village administrative officer) filled!

Tamil Nadu Government Employees recruitment Board conducted the counselling and filled up 1417 vacancies for the post of VAO.
For the remaining vacancies of 817 for the same post (Village Administrative Officer – VAO), the recruitment board has informed that 2nd stage counselling will be conducted.
The written exam for the above for the period 2013-14 was conducted during June and the results were announced during December.
The verification of certificates and other proofs for the tentative list successful candidates and counselling was conducted from 27th January till 12th February a the office of the government employees recruitment board.
There were 2234 vacancies including the quota for retired military service personnel, differently-abled, etc. Now, 1417 vacancies have been filled.
The recruitment board has announced that the dates of the 2nd stage counselling will be announced later.
