TNEA applications to be issued in May

As Plus Two board exams are to be completed by April, Anna University has decided to issue applications for Tamilnadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) from first week of May.
In Tamilnadu, the Plus Two exams will be held from 5 to 31 March across 2,300 exams centres. As many as 8.82 lakh students will appear for the exams.
Similarly, the CBSE exams for class XII will be held from 2 March to 17 April. About 10 lakh students would appear for the exam across the country.
At the coordination committee meeting of TNEA held at Anna University here on Wednesday, the authorities have planned to print 2.4 lakh applications forms this year.
The counseling process for 539 engineering colleges and 44 B Arch institutions in the State would start in the last week of June, as done last year.
