Just 30% of engineering colleges are eligible

Further to the change in policy as per the All India Council for Technical Education, it will now be possible to include new courses or add number of seats in colleges only by 30 per cent of existing engineering colleges. In the academic year 2015-16, just 30% of engineering colleges are said to be eligible for starting new courses or to add seats to prevailing ones.
