Penalty payment for using IND number plates in vehicles from Monday (9th February)!

The government of Tamil Nadu has not yet implemented the High Security IND Number plates system. Hence, Tamil Nadu Police & Traffic departments have announced that strong legal action will be taken on the public who use IND number plates.
Presently, the Police department has been advising the owners of vehicles using the IND number plates to remove them and use the old number plates as per the court order.
As a subsequent step, a senior traffic department official informed that fines will be imposed on people using IND number plates from the coming Monday.
