Tax rates fixed for advertisement displays other than board fixtures!

Chennai Corporation had decided to tax all advertisement displays other than the board fixtures at the rate of up to Rs. 500/- per square metre.
Chennai District Collector is empowered as the authority to impose taxes for all advertisement displays in Chennai city.
Now, Chennai Corporation has fixed the tax rate for all advertising displays other board fixtures @ Rs. 500/- per square metre. The corporation has the rights to revise the same once in every 5 years.
